Junior Consultant
At Araújo Ibarra we know it: Rigorous and strategic analysis is essential for effective trade defense.
Julián is an economist with more than two years of experience in trade policy and advocacy. He specializes in international trade, market analysis, and tariff regulation, providing technical and strategic support to companies and industry associations involved in trade defense procedures, including antidumping investigations, safeguard measures, and tariff modification processes (such as increases, deferrals, and tariff splits).
As a Junior Consultant in the Trade Policy and Defense Unit at Araújo Ibarra, he leads the analysis of statistical and market data and plays an active role in trade defense investigations. His contributions have been key in high-impact cases such as the imposition of antidumping duties on imports of extruded aluminum profiles and the application of safeguard measures on iron wire rod, among other relevant proceedings.
